Huckabee's Secret Weapon

Yes, that is Walker, Texas Ranger himself, Mr. Chuck Norris.

Or as my dad puts it, the guy Bruce Lee beat up in that movie.

The Return

Mark your calendars. I'm back in SF from March 12-22nd. This time, it's personal.

Okay, that last statement makes no sense, but doesn't it sound really cool?

Riley Time?

I was surprised to find a headline on ESPN.com that Cal won the final football game. My initial thought: they're still playing? To me, the season was over after the Big Game fiasco.

Anyway, after reading the recap, it seems like the kid who screwed up the season (frosh QB Kevin Riley) redeemed himself today after taking over for Longshore and leading the Bears back from a 21-0 deficit. So the big question that I'm wondering now is: who's the starting QB next year - Riley or Longshore?

Regardless, you know that somewhere in the world, Ayoob must be cursing himself once again.

Happy Holidays, Take One

Word on the (proverbial) street is that Ng Film Productions has a blockbuster in the works for the holidays. Until its release, you will have to content yourself with my holiday card for 2007. As G-Unit would say, live long and prosper people.

Not in the Mitchell Report

Steroids

Skunk in the Jury Box

The long wait to see who would be named in the now infamous Mitchell report regarding the use of performance-enhancing substances is over. Luckily, candidate Ng dodged a bullet, escaping mention despite what we might call "questionable" practices with regards to his marathon/softball preparation. Wait, never mind.

Anyway, I am just writing in today to confirm that as the "family values" candidate for Mayor of [insert city name], Ng and this campaign will not rest until we have flushed out all the evildoers in baseball. We concur completely with the president in praying that the "steroid-era" of baseball should come to an end. And for all the naysayers out there continuing to accuse candidate Ng over his past, all I can say is this: You are throwing a skunk in the jury box, and we will never be able to remove that smell.
